Stone State Park news archive

back to introduction

INHF’s 100,000th acre of land protection is located on Stone State Park in Sioux City.  However, as with so many INHF partnership projects, this is not our first effort at this site.  INHF has helped the Iowa DNR add three other additions to this park in the past few years.  Curious? Browse through the following articles in our archive to discover more.

Spring 2008- INHF celebrates 100,000 acres (magazine article)

March 2008- Two Sioux City women make new Stone State Park addition possible

February 2008- Sioux City's Stone State Park will expand by 160 acres

Winter 2005- Prairie added to Stone State Park

January 2005- Expansion of Stone State Park announced
