INHF recognized in governor's proclamation

Note: This article was first published in the Summer 2004 edition of INHF's quarterly magazine.

Lt. Governor Sally Pederson presents a Governor's Proclamation in honor of INHF's 25th anniversary at a special ceremony in June. Pictured from left are former Governor Robert D. Ray (an INHF founder), Pederson, Gerry Schnepf (INHF founder), Bill Fultz (original & current board member) and Ed Power (current board chair). The proclamation recognizes INHF's efforts to protect Iowa's natural lands, develop trails, improve water quality and other good works…"not through divisiveness but by involving partners, including local, state and federal governments; private landowners; community volunteers; business and agricultural groups; and other conservation organizations."
