Upcoming Events: Find out about upcoming events that feature places INHF has protected, INHF staff presentations and/or other INHF support.

Featured Destinations: INHF has created a detailed group of webpages about two special places in Iowa: The Upper Iowa River (northeast Iowa) and the Iowa River Greenbelt (central Iowa in Hardin County). Check them out for lots of information about how to see and enjoy these special Iowa treasures!

Outdoor Guide: The Outdoor Recreation Guide contains links to many outdoor resources by category: trails, biking, camping, canoeing, hunting, fishing, general Iowa tourism, nature centers, and scenic byways.

Iowa Trails: This section contains maps and descriptions of 44 Iowa trails, links to trail managers and local tourism and information about ordering our printed trail guide

Visit INHF Projects: Since 1979, INHF has protected more than 100,000 acres throughout the state. Many of these sites are now county or state parks, wildlife areas, trails other public sites. Click the county-by-county map to find the INHF project nearest you.
