Minnesota GIS Data

Minnesota DNR
http://deli.dnr.state.mn.us/

http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/mis/gis/index.html
This website describes the history of Minnesota DNR's GIS program and has a gallery of maps depicting the department's various projects. Resources such as downloadable ArcView extensions, training materials and tips all developed within the DNR are available here.

Minnesota Geographic Data Clearinghouse
http://geogateway.state.mn.us/documents/index.html
The Minnesota Geographic Data Clearinghouse has an extensive search engine to find Minnesota GIS data. This site will search the following agencies for data: Minnesota Land Information Center, Department of Natural Resources, MetroGIS-Twin Cities Metropolitan Area, Department of Transportation, Arrowhead Regional Development Commission, USGS sites, Census Bureau, NRCS, US Army Corps of Engineers, ESRI Geography Network, Red River Basin Decision Information Network, Wisconsin Land Information Clearinghouse and the National Biological Information Infrastructure Metadata Clearinghouse. Searches can then be narrowed down using keyword, by location (the Minnesota portion of the Iowa Great Lakes watershed is in Jackson County), or by a time period.
