FairField Intern Scholarship Essay Project

Agrestal is offering a limited number of scholarships in the FairField Internships project, to be awarded through an essay contest. Help pay for your summer in the internship program by writing about the interface between wildness and domesticity.

The Agrestal Fund fosters an expanded vision that sees wildness as a self-regulating, spontaneous state of existence. What would a more wild world look like? We invite you to write about your ideas of wildness, non-fiction or fiction.

Your essay will be read by an international panel whose profession is rewilding the world in arts and culture, technology, agriculture, architecture, and other fields. If selected, your essay will be published on the Sustainable Living Coalition website and other places. More details can be found at www.internproject.com.

Beyond Eco-Catastrophe Conference

This conference will be taking a look at the next steps beyond the current organic standards, beyond petroleum, beyond a global economy toward a vibrant local one, beyond the domesticated toward the wild.

This conference will serve as the kick-off to the FairField Internships Program. The internships run for ten weeks and focus on living and working in a sustainable environment.

Further information about the conference will be available on the sustainable living coalition web site.
