College students: This summer, help restore Iowa’s natural beauty while learning about ecology, land management and wildlife. INHF is now accepting applications for the 2014 State-wide and Blufflands Land Stewardship internships.

Land stewardship interns have been vital to the success of INHF’s mission since 2005. The internship program provides students with first-hand experience in managing areas of conservation throughout Iowa, working directly with professionals and landowners to protect Iowa’s natural resources.

For the second year, students across the state have the opportunity to apply for two summer land internship programs: Our state-wide crew, made up of 8-10 interns, and our Blufflands crew, 4 interns dedicated solely to working throughout Northeast Iowa. For a little more information on the internship, and to hear from past land stewardship interns, watch the video below:

Applications are open until February 7, 2014 (state-wide crew) and February 14, 2014 (Blufflands).
