Explore the varying landscapes of Iowa while actively working to restore and steward some of the best natural areas the state has to offer. Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation's new land stewardship associate will help in the year-round care of places INHF has protected across the state.

INHF takes the stewardship of Iowa's land, water and wildlife seriously. Our land stewardship work is guided by the idea that true understanding of these lands is key to their long-term care. These natural and native lands give us a glimpse of what Iowa once looked like, and are our inspiration to restore and reconstruct the diversity of Iowa's once-thriving landscapes.

Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is looking for a passionate, hardworking individual who is willing to learn, grow and develop in a way that reflects INHF's reputation toward stewarding Iowa's natural areas. INHF intends to bring on an employee who cares deeply about Iowa's land, water and wildlife and works diligently. This individual must be invested in understanding the lands on which INHF works, developing a keen knowledge of Iowa's flora and fauna and the processes that affect them. They must thrive in working individually and with fellow team members or volunteers.
