The event is scheduled to take place from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in celebration of the Walnut Creek Watershed. The day will consist of a creek clean-up, an array of demonstrations and exhibits about storm water runoff, the environment, and conservation.

Festival attendees can spend time with owls, view owl pellets and learn about Iowa Avian information from the Saving Our Avian Resources, and children can make fish prints with the kids with individuals from the Iowa Environmental Council.

Volunteers will meet at the Colby Park Pavilion at 10:00 a.m. for the clean-up along Walnut Creek and North Walnut Creek. All-ages are welcome to participate!

After the creek clean-up, volunteers are invited to stay for a trash tally, refreshments and a barbeque.
