We invite you to be part of the largest single private campaign ever launched in Iowa for natural land protection.

Together we are saving some of the best that remains of “wild Iowa” in:

Bluffs Country – 7,500 acres in the “driftless area” of Northeast Iowa including the Mississippi River blufflands and the Upper Iowa River

Loess Hills – 6,000 acres in Special Landscape Areas within western Iowa’s outstanding landform

Natural Lakes – 1,500 acres of natural shorelines and wildlife areas at Iowa’s largest natural lakes, including the Iowa Great Lakes and Clear Lake

Each dollar you give will be used for permanent protection of important natural lands.

Each dollar you give will be matched 9 to 1 with funds from other sources!

With gifts of $4 million from people like you, we can garner $40 million in total resources to save 15,000 acres over the next five years.

This special campaign supplements — it does not replace — the on-going work of the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation across Iowa.
