Central Iowa Trail NetworkFor many years, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation has been working with public and private partners throughout central Iowa to plan and create an extensive trail network. The network will eventually include two great loops of 100 miles each, centered near Des Moines.
Much of the network is in place, and INHF and local agencies are working to connect trails into a larger system that will be attractive as a destination for visitors Central Iowa Trail Network introduction page, links to maps and related websites For more information, e-mail Cathy Engstrom, Director of Communications, or call (515) 288-1846. © Copyright
