RSVP

You're invited to Heritage Valley, a 1,200-acre nature preserve near Decorah, for an afternoon of outdoor activities and fun for the whole family!

Learn more about Heritage Valley, the plants and wildlife found there. Explore the valley via short guided hikes and other hands-on activities led by Allamakee and Winneshiek County Conservation naturalists.

Use a spotting scope and binoculars (provided) to find birds. Touch furs and skulls of animals that call Heritage Valley home. Explore the plants and insects of the prairies. Follow the river bank looking for signs of animal neighbors.

An RSVP is appreciated for this event.

At the first "Y" in the road, go left onto Ellingson Bridge Dr. At the 2nd "Y", go right to stay on Ellingson Bridge Dr. Go over the river and just after Red Bud Dr., look for an INHF sign and staff.  There is plenty of parking off the road. > VIEW MAP
