A new movement is underway to help landowners in Linn County bring more nature to their land.
Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation has partnered with the Monarch Research Project, Trees Forever and Linn County Conservation to offer an informational forum for landowners in Linn County and surrounding counties. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet helpful experts
- Learn the benefits of natural land
- Learn about federal, state and local funds available when you restore nature on your land
This is a free event. An RSVP is appreciated.
RSVP here or call Linn County Conservation at 319-892-6450
An open house will be held immediately following the morning program from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. An optional box lunch available.
Together, we can restore and preserve 10,000 more acres of natural land in Linn County! This will benefit pollinators and wildlife, increase water quality and help mitigate flooding. Our neighborhoods will be healthier, our waters cleaner and our lives more interesting.
