Save the Date: Roberts Wildlife Area Dedication and Float

You're invited to the dedication of Roberts Wildlife Area in Buchanan County!

Buchanan County Conservation is hosting an open house to celebrate the dedication of Roberts Wildlife Area. The day will include a short program, tour of the area and an optional canoe/kayak float through the Wapsipinicon River Corridor.

About Roberts Wildlife Area

Roberts Wildlife Area encompasses 110 acres of woodland and grassland along the scenic Wapsipinicon River, one of Iowa's five Protected Water Areas, designated for their outstanding cultural and natural resources. The property also lies within the the DNR designated Wapsi River Bird Conservation Area, provides quality wildlife habitat for birds and other wildlife, and expands the complex of protected land along the river corridor.
