UPDATE: This event has been canceled due to heat. No reschedule planned. Join us at the next UpCycle event on Thursday, August 17.
You're invited to Gray's Lake Park for an evening of getting outside and giving back at one of Des Moines' most popular parks.
Together, we will remove invasive plants from areas in the woodlands around the lake. After the event, organizers will take the plants to Blank Park Zoo where they will be "upcycled" into food for the zoo animals. No RSVP necessary - just show up!
Join us at Confluence Brewing Co. after the event where the first 30 volunteers over the age of 21 will receive a free beer compliments of confluence as a thank you for their efforts.
