5th Annual Into the Wild and Out with the Mustard!

You're invited for a day of land care, community building, a little exercise and a lot of fun at Heritage Valley, a 1,200-acre ecological preserve not usually open to the public.

Volunteers will work together in small groups to remove garlic mustard, a highly invasive species. If left unchecked, garlic mustard can do serious damage to wooded landscapes. Learn more about garlic mustard.

Participants are invited to arrive early to enjoy coffee, conversation and camaraderie. Lunch will also be provided (did you know garlic mustard is edible? We’ll try our hand at making Garlic Mustard Pesto over lunch for volunteers to sample!)
