Groundbreaking in
Marshall County

The Nature Center at Grimes Farm in Marshall County is under construction. Leonard and Mildred Grimes donated the land for the nature center through INHF.

Leonard and Mildred are shown here with Anita O'Gara, INHF Vice President, at the ground-breaking ceremony in October.

The farm has been the site for environmental education activities for several years, and the building will add to the educational opportunities to be provided there by the Marshall County Conservation Board.

For more information, e-mail Cathy Engstrom, Director of Communications, or call (515) 288-1846.
