Now hiring for the Heritage Conservation Corps


ATTN: STUDENTS
HERITAGE CONSERVATION CORPS – Exciting Outdoor Summer Job!

If you are 16-21 with an interest in conservation, trails and working outdoors, keep reading!

The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, one of Iowa's leading conservation organizations, is looking for motivated young adults to join our Heritage Conservation Corps. We're hiring four young people to assist with management of the Wabash Trace Nature Trail in southwest Iowa.

  • Roughly June 2- August 8, 2008
  • Earn $10.00/hour
  • Work 40 hours per week

Job duties include:

  • Trail maintenance
  • Basic carpentry and construction
  • Landscaping
  • Tree pruning
  • Fence repair
  • Painting
  • Helping with sponsored events (National Trails Day & the Century Ride)
