INHF board gets
new officers, members

J. Edward "Ed" Powers took over duties as chair of the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation board of directors during the group's October meeting. Ed is an attorney with Bradshaw, Fowler, Proctor and Fairgrave, P.C. in Des Moines. Mike LaMair of Runnells, who had served as chair for the past two years, will remain an active member of the board.

Other INHF board officers include Bob Jester of Des Moines and Nancy Perry of Shenandoah as vice-chairs, Wendy Wiedner of Granger as treasurer and Bruce Campbell of Cumming as secretary.

The board also elected several new directors: Chris Lindell of Alliant Energy in Marion, Katie Meredith of Des Moines, Travis Young of Young Family Businesses in Waterloo, and Kelly Roberson, editor of The Iowan and Iowa Gardening. Kelly is the first former INHF intern to join the board of directors.
