Trail description:
About half of this trail winds through a deep forest valley, created by Indian Creek. The remaining trail, with more open terrain, follows along the Cedar River. Adjoining the Sac and Fox Trail in a series of loops is the narrow and wilder Cedar Greenbelt Trail, unsuitable for horses and bicycles, but exciting on foot! Trail users will also enjoy visiting the Indian Creek Nature Center, which has a gift shop and exhibits. A naturalist is available to answer questions on weekdays and by appointment on weekends.
