Trail description:
Welcome to Storm Lake’s Hike & Bike Trail!
The Hike & Bike Trail is a Storm Lake network linking new pathways, existing sidewalks and low-traffic streets to provide a pleasant, safe trail system for walkers, joggers, bikers and others. The trail connects the town of Lakeside at the east end of Storm Lake with the subdivision of Emerald Park at the west end, a distance of about five miles. Much of the pathway runs along the city's beautiful shoreline and park system. Trail users move from park to park, and a variety of outdoor recreational amenities line the trail, including boat ramps, a swimming beach, fishing, horseshoes and more.
