Carl Kurtz explores
Iowa's natural beauty in
Iowa's Wild Places

Noted naturalist Carl Kurtz recently published Iowa's Wild Places,
a photographic journey into Iowa's scenic areas and natural wonders.

Every other page is a full-color photograph. From wildflowers to insects, from woodlands to ridge tops, you'll see it all. Plus, Carl will tell you what it was like to experience it all first-hand. You'll have a new appreciation for our natural world.

The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation co-published this book with Iowa State University Press for one simple reason: There should always be one gorgeous and informative book on Iowa nature that you can pick up at the bookstore.

This book is your way of "showing off" the beauty of Iowa.
 Go ahead. Surprise someone.
They'll turn the page and exclaim, "This is in Iowa??!?"
You just smile wisely and nod.

It's the gift you want for Uncle Ed who lives out of state, or the foreign exchange student who's returning overseas soon.

Available for $24.95 from your local bookstore, or contact the Iowa State University Press for ordering information.
