protecting your land

For many Iowans, the land they own is like another member of the family: both a parent to honor and a child to nurture. These Iowans take simple - and sometimes extraordinary - measures to protect their land.

The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is there to help willing landowners protect the land they love. We offer free, confidential, no-obligation support on permanently protecting land - through free materials like our Landowner's Options guide to one-on-one consultations.

We also offer many support materials for landowners committed to sustainable land management. And we practice sustainable stewardship techniques on the lands we own.
