Rickert Lodge Dedication

St. John Lutheran Church of Bellevue dedicated Rickert Lodge on Sunday, June 9. The education facility is located on the Rickert Farm, on which INHF has held a conservation easement since 1998. Mary Wiegert and her sister, the late Isabelle Rickert, donated the land to the church and then worked with church members and leaders to place the easement. As far as we know, St. John's is the first church in Iowa to hold a conservation easement.

You can get more information and photos from the St. John Lutheran Church website.

For more information, e-mail Cathy Engstrom, director of communications, or call (515) 288-1846.
