Tribute Gifts

Any gift to INHF can be given as a "tribute gift":

• in memory of a loved one who is deceased or
• in honor of someone who is still living.
  

The name of your honoree will be included in Iowa Natural Heritage magazine.

If you would like us to notify someone of your tribute gift, simply provide the name and address. We will promptly send a notification card telling them of your thoughtfulness and how your gift will be used (but not the amount).

Tribute gifts that are not directed to a specific project are placed in our endowment fund. Rather than being used immediately, your gift is invested and the interest it earns is used year after year for the purpose you choose. This creates a lasting legacy honoring your loved one. Within the endowment, you can further designate your gift for protection of woodlands, wetlands, prairies, trails, the Mississippi River Blufflands, the Loess Hills or the Iowa Great Lakes.

Gifts in any amount may be given as a tribute.
