Wildlife and public lands

At any given time, INHF is working to protect about 60 places that provide habitat for native plant and animal species, improve water quality and/or allow public enjoyment. Chances are we can find a project  that fits your interests! Jason Lackore/HCCB

Support is needed for these current projects that will become public lands with wildlife benefits when they are completed:

• Addition to Fen Valley, Clay County
• Addition to Mines of Spain, Dubuque County
• West Lake Okoboji water quality projects, Dickinson County
• Additions to Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt, Polk and Jasper counties

How to give

• Online: be sure to note the purpose of your gift under Purpose or Project Name.
• Checks for project donations should be made payable to "INHF" with the project name written on the memo line. All of your gift will support the named project, unless you provide additional instructions.
  
• Pledges for projects are also accepted, generally to paid over the next one to three years.
