Apply Now: Natural Resources Technician (Temporary)
In partnership with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), INHF is hiring four temporary Natural Resources Technicians to assist the USFWS with monitoring of the Federally Endangered Iowa Pleistocene Snail (Discus macclintocki). This is a unique opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful and remote natural lands in the Driftless Region of Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois while helping to conserve a Federally Endangered species.

Each Natural Resources Technician will work 40 hours per week and be paid $15.15/hour. No benefits will be received. All technicians must report to work no later than May 5, 2014 with employment continuing 6 months thereafter. The position of Natural Resources Technician is temporary employment, not to exceed 6 months. Technicians will be working in pairs and will report to either the McGregor or Savanna District field office, both of which are part of the Upper Mississippi River National Fish and Wildlife Refuge.
