
If you live in or around Boone County and are looking for some fun outdoor activities this summer, check out Boone County Conservation Board’s free family bike rides. Load up your bikes and helmets and join families as they bike down the High Trestle Trail and over the lighted-up bridge to the Woodward Trailhead. The ride is approximately 7 miles round-trip, and water and restrooms will be available at the turn around point.
Participants must supply their own bicycles, helmets, and night lights for their bicycles and should wear light colors and/or reflective clothing.This event is held on June 11, June 25, July 9 and July 23 from 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
