INHF Communications staff grows

By Kerri on October 23, 2014 in Blog

The leaves aren't the only things changing. Join us in welcoming our newest addition to the INHF staff, Kerri Sorrell! Kerri began her role as Digital Outreach Assistant on Oct. 15 after working with INHF as an intern since January 2013.

Kerri first came to INHF as a graphic design intern, designing the 2013 Annual Report Donor Supplement and the 2014 INHF calendar. After taking on the duties of communication intern as well, Kerri transitioned to managing the Iowa By Trail app full time. In her new role, she will continue to manage the app, as well as INHF and Iowa By Trail social media and provide media assistance for the Iowa REAP program and IWiLL campaigns.

Kerri is a native of Iowa City and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines in December 2013 with degrees in Magazine Journalism and Graphic Design. While at Drake, she was editor of the senior capstone magazine Urban Plains and was involved in many other campus publications. When she's not working, Kerri enjoys biking Iowa's extensive trail network, crossing national parks off her list, watching Hawkeye football and discovering new Iowa brews.
