New INHF Public Policy Coordinator
Earlier this summer, Marian Gelb joined the INHF staff as the new public policy coordinator.
Over the next year, she will assume responsibility for public policy work under the mentorship of Duane Sand, INHF public policy director, as he switches his focus to other policy work with INHF.
In her new role, Marian will oversee the policy that supports protection of Iowa's land, water and wildlife. She plans to work with conservation partners to help create a healthier, sustainable landscape.
Marian comes to the position with previous policy work. Most recently, she was the executive director of the Iowa Environmental Council from 2007-2012.
You can find out more about Marian by visiting the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation website.
We are excited to have Marian as part of the INHF team!
