Welcome to Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation‘s blog!

INHF is an organization dedicated to protecting and restoring Iowa's land, water and wildlife. We’ve helped protect 130,000 acres of Iowa's gorgeous natural resources in 95 counties across the state.

We work hard – but we also like to have fun. So we’re heading off the beaten path and into the blogosphere to share some of what makes us so passionate about land conservation and restoration in the great state of Iowa. You’ll hear from our trusty interns now and again, read up on environmental policy news and even catch up with our foundation’s president.

So sit back, relax and join us on the road less traveled. We promise it’ll be an adventure.
