MRT Year of Cycling 2013

Posted on November 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM by Taylor Eisenhauer

365 events in 365 days – that’s the hope for the Mississippi River Trail’s (MRT) Year of Cycling 2013.

Across 10 states, from Lake Itasca in Minnesota to New Orleans, MRT is committed to making 2013 the Mississippi River’s biggest year of cycling yet.

Formed with the help of the Mississippi River Connections Collaborative (MRCC), organizers of the event hope to create a community focused on preserving the Mississippi River corridor through recreation and stewardship for generations to come.
