Trek the Trails – Saturday, February 16

Join Story County Conservation for the fifth annual Trek the Trails and explore the beautiful stretches of prairie and woodland along the Skunk River during this four-mile run.

Sign up for the trek in snowshoes or sneakers and make sure to arrive early for the 10 a.m. start of the race! Registration cost is $35 and pre-registration is recommended.

Even if there’s no snow on the ground, you can still enjoy Trek the Trails in sneakers! The event will begin at the Story County Conservation Center, near McFarland Park in Ames, where hot beverages and warm indoor seating will be provided for finishers.
