Maple Beer Making – Saturday, March 16 from 2 to 5 p.m.

A few weeks ago we featured the integral role maple syrup plays in Iowa’s agricultural history and brought you behind-the-scenes in the making of locally produced syrup. Now Black Hawk County Conservation is taking things one step further.

Join the Black Hawk CCB at Hartman Reserve Nature Center in Cedar Falls for an afternoon learning about maple tree tapping and brewing your own batch of maple beer. Cost is $10 per person.

All participants must be 21 years or older and present a valid ID.
