In Iowa, we know better than anyone how imperative healthy, strong soil is to the natural environment and economy. This video, created by the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS), shows how centuries of urbanization, land grabbing and overexploitation has led to erosion and destruction of ecosystems, and how we can make a shift toward more sustainable practices to protect our most valued resource.
