Opening of North Loop of Raccoon River Valley Trail

Join INHF at the celebration for the addition of the 33-mile north loop of the Raccoon River Valley trail on June 1st at Caboose Park in Perry! Events begin at 10 a.m. and will conclude at 1 p.m.

The north loop addition will create a 72-mile loop and an 89-mile paved trail. The loop is considered the longest paved loop trail in the United States!

The event is hosted by the Dallas County Conservation Board and the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association. INHF will have a booth there. If you’re interested in volunteering at the event with INHF, please contact Mary Runkel at mrunkel@inhf.org or at 515.288.1846 ext 17.
