Enjoying the World Capital of Trails is about to get much easier!

Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is excited to announce “Iowa by Trail,” a multiuse trail app and website.

INHF recently partnered with Shift Interactive, an Iowa-based company, to bring Iowa's 1,200 miles of multiuse trails to your fingertips.

When released, the app will feature an interactive map with information about trail surroundings, weather conditions, events, news, and geo location for users to find the nearest trail.

To learn more about the app and how you can support INHF's mission to make trails accessible visit IowaByTrail.cfm.

You can also learn more by visiting the INHF booth at RAGBRAI on Tuesday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the Principal River Walk on the east side of the Des Moines River between Court Avenue and Walnut Street.
