Iowa Environmental Council Annual Conference

“At the Tipping Point,” the Iowa Environmental Council's annual conference, will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. on October 11, 2013, at Drake University in Des Moines.

This year's conference titled “Creating momentum for a healthier Iowa environment” will focus on “new ways to build momentum for clean water, clean energy, and a healthy environment.”

The event will feature speakers, including national freshwater restoration expert Joe Whitworth, and networking centered on goals of clean water and expanding the use of solar power in Iowa.

Registration for the event has begun, and discounted registration is available for Council members and students.
