Iowa Outdoor Expo

The Iowa DNR and Des Moines Izaak Walton League are hosting the Iowa Outdoor Expo. With the sponsorship of several organizations, including Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, the event will take place on September 28 – 29, 2013.

Kids and families are invited to attend the Iowa Outdoor Expo in Water Works Park in Des Moines for free. The two-day event will take place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be a variety of fun outdoor activities including fishing, bow fishing, canoeing and kayaking, outdoor cooking, trap shooting, archery, BB guns, off-road vehicles and hunting dog demos.
