Earth Explorers

You can take an adventure around the world without leaving Iowa this winter!

The Science Center of Iowa is showing Earth Explorers, a National Geographic presentation, now through Saturday, January 12, in the Blank IMAX Dome Theater.

Earth Explorers features “daring men and women who have gone farther… deeper… higher than anyone else to discover new places, help protect our planet’s biodiversity and unearth new scientific discoveries.” The exhibit highlights the Earth's eco-zones – polar regions, oceans, rain forests, mountains, caves and savannas.

Tickets for the exhibit are $11 for adults, $7 for children (ages 2-12) and free for SCI members.

Visit the Science Center of Iowa website for more information about this exciting exhibit and others at the downtown Des Moines attraction.
