Winter eagle watching

One of the greatest winter pleasures of outdoor enthusiasts is the annual bald eagle watching season. With many bluffs and plenty of nature preserves, Iowa locations are ideal for catching a glimpse of the magnificent raptor. This season, mark you calendars as many local towns and preserves are hosting organized watches. The Iowa DNR has compiled a list of all of the 2014 watches in the winter months.
