Wordless Wednesday – Wynn Conservation Easement

Posted on June 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM by Lexi Ruskell

Last Monday, the land stewardship interns visited Dennis Wynn and Deb Dykstra’s conservation easement, which was donated with the help of INHF in 2013. Their 150-acre property is adjacent to Mount Talbot State Preserve and Stone State Park.

They focused on removing dogwood and a few cedars as well as girdling some larger trees on this prairie ridge.  Here are the before and after photos after five hours of chainsaw work. The prairie can breathe again!
