Music in the Park – Speaker: Jennifer Pharr Davis

On July 29, Polk County is switching up their Music in the Park event. Instead of listening to music, they are bringing in Jennifer Pharr Davis to speak about her adventures hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Jennifer is an American long-distance hiker and author who, in 2011, set the record for the fastest Appalachian Trail hike by a woman. She hiked for 46 days, 11 hours, and 20 minutes – an astounding average of 46.9 miles per day!
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Jester Park Amphitheater
