Wordless Wednesday – Natural Spring Water

Posted on July 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM by Lexi Ruskell

Natural Spring

Natural spring water is stored in unique containers beneath the earth’s crust called aquifers. Before the aquifer reaches its full capacity and breaks through the surface of the earth, the water journeys through the underground rock, dissolving minerals along the way. Springs can vary in size depending on the water pressure in the aquifer and its geological location. This small spring in the image above was photographed in Franklin County.
