Nature Walk: Stay Together

Stay Together

“If you are a trumpeter swan parent with five cygnets, your main mission is to protect them from predators and teach them how to survive in the wild. It is not a part-time job but one that requires being alert at all times of the day and night. As the young grow, they become less vulnerable to predation, but as this photo shows, they are still a tight-knit family.” -Carl Kurtz
