INHF Communications team welcomes Joe Jayjack

Join INHF in welcoming Joe Jayjack, INHF’s new Communications Specialist. Joe will assist our Director of Communications, Hannah Inman, with media, including social media, Iowa Natural Heritage quarterly magazine, member email and other duties. He is also responsible for maintenance and upgrades for INHF's website and supervising INHF’s communications intern.

Joe is originally from Council Bluffs in the Loess Hills area and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in journalism. He has worked for the Des Moines Register as a designer and recently was on the art staff at Cuisine at home magazine at August Home Publishing.

“I have been following INHF for a long time,” said Joe. “I have always been into conservation and have always enjoyed the work that INHF has done. With my interest in story telling and conservation I thought this would be the perfect job to combine the two and help share all the stories that INHF contributes to across the state.”

Facts about Joe:

• Enjoys biking, hiking and cooking
• Has a one-and-a-half year old son
• Every year goes on a bike camping trip with his family to the High Trestle Trail and Raccoon River Valley Trail.
