Nature Walk: Thrushes

Posted on May 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM by Taylor Eisenhauer

"Thrushes such as the Eastern Bluebird and the Swainson's Thrush may respond to human disturbances to search for insects. In this case some scattered trees over recently mowed grass was a feeding bonanza. Perching on low branches they dropped to the ground picking up exposed insects and larvae." -- Carl Kurtz
