Iowa Outdoors celebrates Spring

Posted on May 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM by Kerri Sorrell

No one knows if the spring weather is here to stay, but the spring episode of Iowa Outdoors, one of my favorite video series produced by IPTV, has arrived! In association with the Iowa DNR, IPTV produces a seasonal video that explores Iowa’s most thrilling and beautiful outdoor amenities and activities.

Watch Iowa Outdoors | Episode #302 on PBS. See more from Iowa Outdoors.

In this episode, Iowa Outdoors follows Trans Iowa, an intense, 300-mile back roads bike race dubbed the “anti-RAGBRAI.” The episode also features Iowa’s small-scale maple syrup industry, a rare but fascinating bird (the Ruffed Grouse) and photographer pair Bob & Linda Scarth.

Are there any other Iowan video series that you watch regularly?
