INHF Welcomes Kristen Graves to the Development Team

Headshot of Kristen GravesKristen, who is a lifelong, fifth-generation Iowan, joined the INHF team in late September as the Data Entry Associate. Her deep connection to Iowa and background in communications directly translate into her new role supporting INHF’s donor program.

Kristen spent her childhood hunting morel mushrooms, picking black raspberries and admiring wildlife near her rural Marion County home. When she’s not in the stands at an Iowa Cubs game or catching a show at the local theater, Kristen still enjoys quiet nature time with her two young children.

“I love taking walks with them on the trails in the Des Moines area,” says Kristen, who now lives in the metro with her family.

She also enjoys reading, especially books offering a good history lesson. Kristen sees how her work at INHF ties into Iowa history, too.

“I’m excited to be part of a team dedicated to preserving Iowa’s land and protecting it for future generations,” she reflects.

Kristen will be based in INHF’s Des Moines office, where she’ll communicate with donors and ensure their gifts are routed to their desired project or purpose.

Morgan McAndrew, who joined INHF in a temporary position in early summer, is now on staff fulltime as well. Morgan serves as INHF's Loess Hills Land Stewardship Assistant. You can learn more about her here.
