Amanda Acton, GPC

Amanda grew up as a city kid in Des Moines. However, some of her most treasured childhood memories were getting her hands dirty, sleeping under the stars, and tromping through forests at summer camp. Her unrelenting curiosity, love of research, and passion for storytelling fuel a love of grants (really!), especially grants that center on land and people. When she isn't out standing in nature with the birds, you can usually find her slow hiking, camping, reading, or riding roller coasters with her son.
