Bill Kohler

Bill grew up on a working horse farm in rural Spotsylvania County, Virginia, where he developed a deep love of the outdoors and appreciation of Civil War history. Bill holds a degree in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia. He later went back to school and earned a degree in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University and spent almost a decade working for the Fort Collins Natural Areas Program before moving to Iowa (his wife is from Iowa City) in 2019. When Bill isn’t exploring Eastern Iowa with his family, he is usually watching or shuttling his son, niece and nephew to soccer in some part of Iowa. Futbol is life!
